About this event
Join the Mississippi State Department of Art as we welcome back artist and alum Adam Trest.
Trest will discuss his artwork at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 in Giles Hall's Harrison Auditorium. The public is invited to a free gallery reception from 5-6 p.m. that day to view an exhibition of recent work and meet the artist.
For over a decade, Trest has worked as an artist in Laurel. He graduated from MSU in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and has experience as a set designer, arts educator, product designer and studio artist. His work has been featured on "Home Town," HGTV and in Garden & Gun magazine, and he recently completed exhibits at the Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience in Meridian and Lauren Rogers Museum of Art in Laurel. Trest's work can be found everywhere from Laurel’s South Central Regional Medical Center to the homes of collectors all across the U.S.
