Campus shoe drive underway to benefit Palmer Home

An athletic shoe drive led by students in the Montgomery Leadership Program at Mississippi State is underway through the end of the month to benefit the Palmer Home for Children.

The home currently serves nearly 100 children from birth through college age who live year-round on two campuses in Columbus and near Hernando. Palmer Home extends counseling to the family of origin, foster care, and other family-related services.

Drop off gently used athletic shoes in one of the boxes located at all MSU residence hall lobbies, the Holliman Athletic training rooms, Hand Chemistry building, McCarthy Gym/Kinesiology Building, Chick-fil-A and The Old House.
