Neil Johannsen
Neil Johannsen, the Robert and Patricia Hines Endowed Professor of Kinesiology at Louisiana State University, will deliver a presentation titled "Exercise and Nutrition for Health and Performance" on Thursday [April 30] in the Mitchell Memorial Library auditorium at Mississippi State.
He will discuss his work at LSU and the Pennington Biomedical Research Center on the study of physical activity and exercise training effects on chronic disease (e.g., obesity, diabetes, etc.) in clinical populations. Additional research interests will be discussed for potential LSU-MSU collaborations.
