Trace Adkins will bring his resonant baritone voice and tough/tender personality to the MSU Riley Center in downtown Meridian for a great evening of country music on June 18 at 7:30 p.m. A pre-show party with refreshments begins in the Grand Lobby at 6 p.m.
Adkins is a Grammy Awardânominated member of the Grand Ole Opry as well as a TV personality, actor, and author. Heâs also a spokesman for the American Red Cross and the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps injured military veterans. To support U.S. troops, he has performed on seven USO tours.
The former oil rigger swaggers through such rousing hit songs as â(This Ainât) No Thinkinâ Thing,â âLadies Love Country Boys,â and âHonky Tonk BAdonkadonk.â Heâs also the father of five girls, and his tender side shows on âYouâre Gonna Miss Thisâ and âJust Fishinâ.â
