MSU announces ACT prep session later this month

STARKVILLE, Miss.—A workshop for high school and other students who have not taken the ACT—or need extra practice—will take place March 25 at Mississippi State.

Offered by the university’s Learning Center, the 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. preparatory in 246 Allen Hall covers the test’s four concentration areas: English, reading, mathematics and science reasoning.

A registration form may printed out via the “TLC Events” link at www.tlc.msstate.edu. Once completed, it and a $75 payment should be mailed to: The Learning Center, c/o ACT Workshop, Box 9710, Mississippi State, MS 39762. Form and payment also may be brought to 267 Allen Hall.

After March 19, a $50 late fee must accompany the basic $75 payment.

All workshop participants will receive a free copy of “Barron’s 3rd Edition, ACT 36: Aiming for the Perfect Score.”
