MSU hosts guest chef during International Education Week celebration

Mississippi State's Holmes Cultural Diversity Center and MSU Dining Services are offering a global culinary experience at Perry Cafeteria in celebration of International Education Week.

Culturally diverse dishes will be available daily Nov. 15-19 during lunch at Perry Cafeteria. Students, faculty, guests and visitors can enjoy Mexican street corn, Kadai Jhinga Masala, sweet and sour chicken, and jerk chicken with Caribbean coconut rice.

On Tuesday [Nov. 16], MSU will host a special appearance from guest chef Boeing Koo, who will prepare Ethiopian Berbere Chicken, manchurian cauliflower, basmati rice, naan and harissa during lunch at Perry Cafeteria. Koo served as lead catering chef for NBC at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He has been cooking since age 10 and has worked as a chef for 18 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in hospitality and tourism from the University of South Carolina.
