Old Main Music Festival makes a welcome return to MSU April 22

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Music Maker Productions presents headliner Marc E. Bassy at the Old Main Music Festival April 22 at the Mississippi State University Amphitheater.

Bassy, an American singer/songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area, is a former vocalist of the Los Angeles-based pop band 2AM Club. Works from his solo career include the 2014 mixtape Only the Poets, 2015 release East Hollywood and the 2016 EP Groovy People, including the single “You & Me” featuring G-Eazy.

Free and open to the public, the festival includes activities ranging from outdoor games, an art market and food vendors, and performances from local and national musicians throughout the day. The Art Market begins at 3 p.m., with food trucks opening at 3:30 p.m. Both will remain open until 7 p.m., when the main stage act begins. Local stage artists and main stage openers will be announced closer to the event.
