Annual information security training begins for employees

Mississippi State requires annual information security awareness training. Our information security training vendor is SecureIQ. The email notifications that come from notifications@securityiq-notifications.com are legitimate. The initial notifications have started now.

When you complete your training, you'll be entered to win great prizes throughout the next 60 days, starting Oct. 17. MSU cheese, two tickets to the Auburn football game and two tickets to a men's basketball game are all up for grabs. We'll pull weekly names for various prizes every week. The sooner you finish your training, the more prizes you could win! At the end of the month, whichever department has the highest percentage of people who completed their training will win a free breakfast with Bully.

The training will be available for 60 days. You do not have to complete all required training modules at once. You may access the training as many times as necessary to complete the course. Users who do not complete the training will be sent additional reminders every week.

The training will be available in M365.msstate.edu as an icon under the app launcher on the upper left labeled "InfoSec IQ" and via a direct link in the automatic email notifications sent to your account.

If you have any questions, contact the ITS Service Desk by phone at (662) 325-0631 or by emailing servicedesk@mssate.edu.
