MSU offering student finance support service, resources to students
The Student Money Management Center, previously known as Bulldog Budgets, is a student support service providing online and in-person financial education and resources to all MSU students.
The SMMC's outreach program, Money Mentors, features student peer counselors providing free, confidential coaching on students' personal finance questions and goals.
Money Mentors are available to speak to your class or organization on campus, either as a short, about us-type snapshot to tell students about an available resource or a full presentation on topics including budgeting and spending wisely; managing money; building credit; investing and planning for retirement; resources for paying for school; and other personal finance topics.
If you are interested in having a money mentor present to your class or organization, send an email to moneymentors@msstate.edu or reach out to Financial Literacy Coordinator Mallorie Smith at 662-325-7434.
