‘May the 4th Be With You’ telescope viewing moved to Wednesday [May 3]

Mississippi State’s “May the 4th Be With You” "Star Wars"-themed telescope viewing of the Moon, Mars, Venus and other celestial bodies at Howell Observatory is now scheduled for Wednesday [May 3] due to expected cloudy weather on Thursday [May 4].

The event will be held 7:30-9:30 p.m. and is free to all.

The observatory is located at the H.H. Leveck Animal Research Center, also known as South Farm. To reach the facility, take Blackjack Road to the intersection of Stone Boulevard, then turn south onto Hail State Boulevard and continue for 2 miles. Signs mark the route to the site.
