MSU will conduct Maroon Alert test on campus monitors, screens early Saturday
MSU Emergency Management will conduct a Maroon Alert test of the Alertus notification system this weekend.
A test will be conducted at 5 a.m., Saturday [Feb. 15]. This test should last approximately two minutes and will only display a test message on university digital displays and university desktops. This test will NOT notify phones, send emails, post to social media, or post to the website. The test will briefly show a test message on these monitors and screens for two minutes. If someone is using their desktop at that time, they simply can click the acknowledge button to clear the message.
