Metamorphosis: MSU student art exhibition raises awareness for mental health

STARKVILLE, Miss.—From first-year psychology majors to doctoral candidates and graduates, Mississippi State students and alumni across campus aim to spark conversation and raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention through a university-wide art exhibition.

“Metamorphosis: From Pain to Possibilities” features a range of artistic mediums—photography, canvas paintings, posters and origami—created by MSU students. Hosted by the Office for Student Well-Being, the collection will be in the Colvard Student Union Art Gallery Sept. 20-Oct. 2, with a public reception on Monday [Sept. 22], 2-4 p.m.
