Lyceum Series hosts celebrated American dance company Ailey II Feb. 11 at MSU

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State’s Lyceum performing arts series launches spring events with one of America’s most celebrated dance companies.

Ailey II performs Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. in historic Lee Hall’s Bettersworth Auditorium. Featuring some of the country’s best early-career dance talent and the creative vision of Artistic Director Francesca Harper, Ailey II offers a fresh take on the legacy of acclaimed choreographer and founder Alvin Ailey. Since 1974, this renowned company has combined a rigorous touring schedule with extensive community outreach programs.

Tickets are $30 for the general public, $25 for MSU employees and $10 for children, and may be purchased online at https://msstate.universitytickets.com. Students can attend for free by reserving tickets through the site or picking them up in person at the Center for Student Activities, located in Suite 314 of the Colvard Student Union.
