STARKVILLE, Miss.—Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State Dr. Nicholas Frank was among honored alumni at Purdue University this week at a special recognition event.
Frank was one of five Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine graduates featured in the inaugural Dean’s Dinner of Distinction, “an event designed to recognize graduates who have demonstrated leadership, innovation and service across veterinary fields,” according to an article in Hoosier Ag Today.
Frank earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue before spending two years in private equine practice. He later returned to the university for a residency and Ph.D. Before joining MSU as CVM dean in 2023, Frank held faculty and administrative roles at the University of Tennessee and Tufts University. He is known internationally for his expertise in endocrinology and laminitis.
