MSU’s Famous Maroon Band honored the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and remembered the lives lost that day with a special halftime segment during Saturday's game [Sept. 11] against NC State at Davis Wade Stadium. The Division of Athletics also commemorated the anniversary with a specially painted midfield outline of America that featured the stars and stripes, while each field corner portrayed the 9/11 flights 11, 175, 77 and 93.
