A participant in the recent "Magical Ornaments" workshop holds a wooden ornament etched by the new Glowforge 3D laser printer in Mitchell Memorial Library's MaxxSouth Digital Media Center. The DMC's makerspace area regularly hosts seasonal workshops that teach faculty, staff and students how to design, produce and create products by using the latest technology and equipment.
