Natalie Walls, a second-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student and camp counselor with MSU's annual Veterinary Camp, explains the internal anatomy of chickens to campers. The hands-on experience is a series of fun, educational programs for students ages 10-17 with dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian, veterinary technician or scientist, or working in any animal-focused career. Led by College of Veterinary Medicine professors with assistance from current veterinary students, each session features a variety of interactive labs, allowing participants to explore the world of animals and veterinary medicine.
