Mississippi State’s Famous Maroon Band honors each branch of the U.S. military during Saturday's [Nov. 8] patriotic halftime performance, part of the Bulldogs’ annual military appreciation game. Former and current servicemen and women were recognized throughout the game, highlighting the university's deep ties to those who serve our country. To see more images of those honored, click here. The university will honor military service members through a series of Veterans Day events, including a ceremony on Tuesday [ Nov. 11] on the Drill Field and a nearly monthlong student art exhibition in the Colvard Student Union with a public reception from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
