STARKVILLE, Miss.—From honing athletic skills and discovering academic interests to diving into the pool and launching a new business, summer camps at Mississippi State meet a wide variety of interests.
The university’s newest catalog of 2023 camps may be viewed online at www.guestservices.msstate.edu/camps/camp-participants. Programs this summer offer activities for elementary students through post-college adults, including some designed for participants with special needs.
“We always look forward to hosting a lot of campus guests during this great assortment of summer activities and programs. Many of these visitors are youth, but whether you’re looking for something for young children through high schoolers, and even college age and beyond, take a look at the growing opportunities to learn, be enriched and have fun,” said MSU Vice President for Student Affairs Regina Hyatt.
Camps cover specific sports, general recreation, accounting, engineering, robotics, arts and sciences, veterinary care and much more. In addition to camps, www.guestservices.msstate.edu is a resource for those planning or attending summer conferences. Information on amenities, lodging, dining, parking and transit, recreation and meeting spaces also is listed on the site, as well as related university policies, including the Minors Protection Policy at www.guestservices.msstate.edu/policies/minors-protection-policy.
MSU’s Office of Guest and Conference Services offers a clearinghouse of summer camp information and may be contacted at summercamps@msstate.edu. Individual camp coordinators or sponsoring departments also may be contacted for full event details.
