Campus power outage scheduled for portions of May 20-21

A campus-wide power outage is scheduled from 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, to 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, to complete the connection of newly installed electrical infrastructure at the University’s substation.

This outage will not affect areas served by 4-County Power Association or Starkville Utilities, which include the Thad Cochran Research, Technology and Economic Development Park, North Farm, Nusz Park, Rula Tennis Pavilion, A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre and South Farm.

Please plan ahead and shut down electronic devices and sensitive equipment before the outage begins.
